MISSOURI RIVER
Downstream from Holter Dam the Missouri river provides great
fly fishing from late spring through the fall. This portion
of the Missouri holds over 5,000 trout per mile with the population
comprised of approximately 75% rainbows and 25% browns. Most
of the fish we catch on the Missouri average 16" to 18" long
but many over 18" are caught and we frequently catch both browns
and rainbows over 20" long. All of these trout are wild and
provide lots of action. The Missouri also provides the opportunity
to catch trophy size browns with fish as large as 31" long being
taken on streamers during the spring and fall seasons.
